The role of Disha Patani in the film was uncertain until now. It was rumoured that she will play Salman Khan’s second love interest but it clearly isnt so.
Ali Abbas Zafar’s next venture is Bharat starring Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka will be teaming up with Salman on the big screen after a gap of 11 years, after their last appearance in “God Tussi Great Ho” in 2008. In addition to the cast Zafar recently tweeted a picture of Disha Patani welcoming her on board for the film.

Disha Patani’s role was earlier rumoured to be Salman Khan’s second love interest but a source close to the production confirmed to BollywoodLife that it isn’t so. Disha will play the role of Salman’s sister in the film. Bharat is based on the Korean film Ode To My Father where the role of the sister was played by Shin Rin-Ah.
Disha Patani’s last venture Baaghi 2 starring Tiger Shroff was a smashing hit at the box office and is one of the top grosser of 2018. Now she has a movie with superstar Salman Khan, lady-luck is surely favoring Patani these days.
As for Salman Khan he is busy all year with a handful of movies. With this years Eid release Race 3, he has already locked in Eid 2019’s release with Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. Salman confirmed that he will be shooting for Dabangg 3 along with Bharat. He also added that script for Kick2 is in the works.
Disha Patani, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra together will surely keep the audiences excited for Eid 2019.
