If all goes fine and according to schedule then Abhinav Kashyap’s Besharam is set to hit the shooting floors this December with lover-boy Ranbir Kapoor casted in the lead role.
All previous news and rumors about the movie being shelved has been shunned by the announcement made by Abhinav at the premiere of the movie Chittagong. Abhinav quipped that Besharam is on and Ranbir is there and the shooting will commence this December.

The female lead has not been finalized yet. Abhinav has Parineeti Chopra in mind as she auditioned for the role. The news that flew around was even that Kashyap is keen on having newbie Alia Bhatt casted in the female lead. Considerations are on for that. No final news about that.
