Bell Bottom: Mrunal Thakur Out As This Actress Makes Her Debut With Akshay Kumar’s Film?

Akshay Kumar’s list of upcoming movies is never-ending. Out of the many projects that he is working on, the audience is looking forward to seeing him in the spy thriller Bell Bottom. Apart from Akshay, people were also excited to see Mrunal Thakur opposite the megastar in the film. However, we think that might not happen now.

While earlier reports suggested that Mrunal Thakur will be a part of Bell Bottom, it is now speculated that Kriti Sanon’s sister and Akshay Kumar’s Filhal co-actor Nupur Sanon will make her debut with this film. According to reports in Pinkvilla, Mrunal was never approached by the makers of the film for any role and the reports were just mere rumours.

A source told Pinkvilla that Nupur will essay the role of Akshay’s wife in the film and will have a very strong character. The source also revealed, “Mrunal Thakur was never even approached for the role. In fact, Nupur Sanon has already been finalised to play the role which is said to be a significant one.”

The source added, “Her look test is already done and with Fillhall being loved so much, this seems like an exciting time for her to foray into showbiz. Nupur has already been prepping herself for the big break.” Well, kudos to Nupur for bagging her first big-budget film.

Talking more about Bell Bottom, Akshay recently announced the new release date of the film. Bell Bottom, which was initially releasing on January 22, 2021, will now release on April 2, 2021. Akshay’s Bachchan Pandey was shifted to January 22, 2021, after he shifted the Christmas date for the release of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.

As for Mrunal Thakur, she still has Jersey with Shahid Kapoor and Toofan with Farhan Akhtar.
