The workers on the sets of Balaji had a spat with the Allied Mazdoor Union Committee members after the latter tried to disrupt a shoot recently. To resolve the conflict, a conference had been held by The Film And TV Producers Bodies IMPAA and FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees).
The conflict broke out when certain Allied Mazdoor Union committee members visited the Balaji set and asked to stop the shoot. When the production team and others on the set resisted to do so, a physical brawl took place between the union and the set members. The executive of the AMU committee, Gangeshwarlal Shrivastava has been accused of creating a ruckus on sets and also for the use of abusive language against the set workers.
