Join UsAfter Kick recorded a terrific opening, the preparations for his next Eid release has already begun. Superstar Salman Khan’s film coming next Eid will be Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan.
In a recent interview with Koimoi, the actress briefed us about the film’s contours. She said, “It is going to be a very different film for Salman. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is more of a human story than Salman’s regular action packed films. Salman obviously will don the titular role and I am playing a Brahmin girl in the film. I feel Kabir’s film will be very very different from what Salman is doing right now.” The actress refused to let out any more information about the story.
Talking in the same vein, the actress said that the reason why she chose this film is more because of Kabir Khan than Salman. She said, “Kabir and me have never done a film together. He is a very intelligent filmmaker who will make a good film. And it will have something new for me to do because we have never worked in the past. Rather, in the last 4 films Kabir has worked with no other actress. That excited me to come together with Kabir.”
Talking about working with Dabangg Khan, the actress added, “It is always fun to work with Salman. We share good rapport. Salman and I make for a lovely pairing. The film will be a big Eid release and it works for us. Luckily, Bajrangi Bhaijaan worked in my time-frame and hence I said yes for it.”
Salman and Kareena will be seen together for the fourth time after Kyon Ki, Main Aur Mrs. Khanna and Bodyguard. The duo were last in the same frame for Dabangg 2‘s popular item number ‘Fevicol Se’. Kareena is enthralled about the project and is expected to begin filming it by October end. The film will be shot extensively over India.
