It’s been a morning bringing surprise and shock to ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ Aamir Khan & ‘Bachchan Pandey’ Akshay Kumar’s fans. Both the movies which were clashing on Christmas 2020 are no more releasing together. Aamir, moments ago, announced that Bachchan Pandey is not releasing with his film and has a different date now.

Aamir Khan tweeted, “Sometimes all it takes is one conversation. Thank you to my friends @akshaykumar & Sajid Nadiadwala for their warm gesture of moving the release date of their film Bachchan Pandey at my request. I wish them the very best for their film. Looking forward to it. Love. A”

To which Akshay Kumar replied with a new look of Bachchan Pandey, “Anytime @aamir_khan, we’re all friends here Presenting – new look, new release date. Coming on 22nd January, 2021. In and as #BachchanPandey! #SajidNadiadwala @farhad_samji @kritisanon.” Earlier, the film was going to release alongside Sajid Nadiadwala’s Bachchan Pandey starring Akshay Kumar as the lead.

Details about the film are still under wraps. Bachchan Pandey marks the tenth collaboration between Nadiadwala and Akshay. The duo earlier worked together in films like Heyy Babyy, Jaan-E-Mann, Waqt Humara Hai and the Housefull franchise.
