Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who has faced a debacle at the box office post the failure of his films including Nautanki Saala and Bewakoofiyaan, says he must stick to unconventional films.

Ask Ayushmann Khurrana what went wrong with his last two films and he gives an honest answer to it, “My first film was an unconventional film; the other two films were conventional so I think I should stick to unconventional films. If you are a superstar you can do anything and if you are not a superstar your script should be your superstar.”

Ayushmann Khurrana made his Bollywood debut with the film Vicky Donor which garnered positive response at the box office and was also critically acclaimed by the critics. However the actor further adds that he is happy being an actor and with his work.

He says, “I have no idea why Bewaoofiyan didn’t work…there is no formula for a successful film. As far as my work is concerned as an actor I am happy with it.”

Ayushmann has Hawaizaada in his kitty, that will be releasing on 30th January, 2015.
