Ayushmann Khurrana To Collaborate With Karan Johar For A Rom-Com?

Bala actor Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the best phases of his career. With back to back 7 hits and a few Box Office breakers, the actor has become one of the most bankable stars and is favorite amongst the directors. Now the grapevine has that Ayushmann might collaborate with Dharma honcho Karan Johar and below is all you need to know about the same.

If reports in Filmfare are to be believed, Karan has approached Ayushamnn for a film under his Production house Dharma. It is being said that the film is a romantic comedy and may have Ayushmann as the stand-alone actor.

Though there are no confirmations from Karan or Ayushmann’s side, the speculations are strong and fans are already left excited. For the unversed, a few years ago the actor had revealed that he had directly approached Karan for a movie. Those where the initial days of his career and he did not make the cut.

Seems like the actor might finally live his dream and we are happy. Ayushmann was last seen in Bala alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam. The film revolved around a young man suffering from premature balding and how he lives in a society that has obsessed over hair for ages. The film went on to strike a chord amidst the audience and was a successful one.

Post Bala, the actor is busy with the shooting of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saadhan, which will have him play a homosexual character for the first time. The actor also has Shoojit Sircar directorial Gulabo Sitabo which star megastar Amitabh Bachchan alongside him. The filming of which has wrapped up and the film is in the post-production stage.
