Sriram Raghavan’s Andhadhun is rated as the best film of the director’s as well as Ayushmann Khurrana’s career. Being highly successful on both commercial and critical front, the comic thriller is one of the most sought-after films to be remade from Bollywood.

A few months ago, it was learnt that Andhadhun will be remade in Tamil with Dhanush backing the project. Now, as per the latest reports flowing in, the film will also get its remake in Telugu and actor Nithiin is said to play Ayushmann’s character. The reports further state that the remake rights have been sold at 3.50 crores to Nithiin’s own banner, Shrest Movies.

While the official confirmation is still awaited, the remake is said to go on floors very soon.

Released in 2018, Andhadhun also featured Tabu, Radhika Apte, Anil Dhawan and Zakir Hussain in key roles. Apart from box office success, Ayushmann Khurrana also bagged a National Award for his performance.

While the film made 72.50 crores in India, the global collection stands at whopping 411.65 crores owing to blockbuster run in China. The film also released in Japan, last year.
