Salman Khan’s next film with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, titled The Bull, is currently in a dilemma. While some rumors suggest that the film is shelved after Bhai’s constant interference and nagging, others state that the film is on track and will indeed be on floors after a short delay.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Salman has walked out of a Dharma Productions film. A few years ago, he was finalized for Karan Johar‘s highly ambitious project Shuddhi, but he later passed the baton to Varun Dhawan after a lot of reconsideration.
If the project is still happening at The Bull, it will be helmed by Shershaah director Vishnu Vardhan. Salman plays a naval officer in the film, and it is inspired by the true events of the 1988 Maldives Coup attempt. Salman Khan was training hard on his physique for the film.
Trending
A few days ago, it was reported that the Sultan superstar was nagging everyone over the film, and he was too involved with the creative process, which triggered Karan Johar to finally put a full stop to the project. However, the reports were called untrue, and the film is said to be still in progress.
The Bull is not the first film that had reports of Salman Khan walking out of the film. While this Dharma Production project still hangs in a dilemma, here are five projects that the superstar walked out of!
Inshallah
All hell broke loose when it was announced that Salman Khan is reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali on a film titled Inshallah. In fact, when it was announced it would be a love story also starring Alia Bhatt, the film was criticized a lot considering the age gap between Salman & Alia. But Bhansali stuck to his casting. Later, the film was shelved, citing creative differences, and Salman moved to another Eid film called Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai as he promised his fans to meet on Eid with Inshallah, Alia & Bhansali, moved to Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Eid 2020 will be super mubarak! Inshallah, my first film with Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, will release that day. @bhansali_produc @BeingSalmanKhan @prerna982 #Inshallah pic.twitter.com/jJ21nFpazI

Recently, there were reports that Bhansali is planning to revive the project with Shah Rukh Khan, but there has not been confirmation yet.
Prem Ki Shaadi
Salman was reportedly working on Sooraj Barjatya’s next film, which was tentatively titled Sooraj Ki Shaadi. However, the director and the superstar were dealing with a lot of creative differences until one day, the news of Salman walking out of the film broke. It is now speculated that Shahid Kapoor might have replaced Salman Khan in the film as the actor also played Prem in one of the Rajshri films Vivah.
No Entry Mein Entry
Salman himself announced that he was doing the film with Anees Bazmee. So, everyone was shocked when he was speculated to walk out of the film. Now, Boney Kapoor has confirmed that, indeed, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh have replaced Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan’s trio! Some reports stated that Salman Khan never committed to No Entry Mein Entry and was in no mood to allot dates for shooting.
Dancing Dad
Salman Khan was supposed to play a father in Remo D’Souza’s film, which is about a father struggling to learn dance for his daughter. However, after Race 3 flopped at the box office, Salman and Remo said a lot, which eventually led to the unceremonious shelving of this project.
Zero
It was rumored that neither Shah Rukh Khan nor Salman Khan was the original choice for Zero. However, when Salman heard the script, he wanted Aanand L Rai to keep the dwarf angle of the film hidden till release. This could not happen, and Salman did not commit to the film. Later, Rai denied all such rumors and agreed that he only discussed the idea of the film with Salman Khan, but when the script was ready, Shah Rukh Khan had written it all over.
Hopefully, rumors of The Bull being shelved stand untrue, as stated. Salman was last seen in Tiger 3, and reports suggest that his cameo from other Spy Universe films has been chopped off.
