The whole team of Arjun Patiala has started shooting for the film. Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh have started shooting for the film today in Chandigarh.

As the team started shooting today, the first look of Diljit is doing the rounds. Yet again, Diljit has donned the cop look and oh boy, he looks so handsome!

One of Diljit’s fan clubs took to the Twitter and shared his first look from the film. Check out the stunning look of Diljit here:

Varun Sharma too took to his Twitter account and shared a group picture from the sets. He captioned the picture as, “Punjabbbb It is!! @kritisanon @sharadakarki #ArjunPatiala.”

After playing a cop in Udta Punjab and Jatt and Juliet, Diljit is playing a cop for the third time in the film.

Speaking about the first scene, producer Dinesh Vijan said, “Arjun Patiala (larger than life) is a comic franchise. Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Sharma and Kriti Sanon have a fantastic comic timing. Diljit was in top form on day one and the scene turned out even more hilarious than on paper. The whole unit was in splits.”

In the film, Kriti plays a journalist, while Diljit will essay the role of a small-town boy. “The film is a small-town comedy,” Diljit had earlier told IANS.

Directed by Rohit Jugraj, the film will release on September 13. It is co-produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films.
