Actor Arjun Kapoor, who is working with her childhood friend Sonakshi Sinha for the first time in Tevar, says he didn’t imagine her being an actress.
Sonakshi and Arjun are childhood friends and co-incidentally both were fat kids. When asked Arjun whether he ever thought that she would become an actor, he said, “I didn’t imagine her being actress but after a certain time I figured out that she does. Later, I came to know that she wanted to be an actress. If I can become an actor then anybody can become one. If I can do what I did somebody like her, who has tremendous will power, could manage to achieve even before me.”
“She was always an attractive girl when she was in school… just before Dabangg started I had met her and she had lost tremendous weight and she was looking very good. It makes complete sense that she became an actress,” he added.
Arjun has also paid tribute to his mentor Salman Khan in Tevar with a song. Talking about the same, he said, “These things happen in other films too. Even in Haider there were two characters whose names were Salman, so it won’t be the first, it won’t be the last. He is the iconic personality and any kid growing up in any part of India today is influenced by Salman Khan as a person and Salman Khan as a star.”
Directed by Amit Sharma, Tevar features Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Manoj Bajpai among others.
