Anushka Sharma Reveals Zero Was Not The Reason Why She Took A Break

Anushka Sharma who was last seen in Zero has not announced her future projects and her fans are worried that they won’t see her on the 70 mm screen any time soo. The actress recently spoke about taking a break from films after Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

The actress in a recent interview revealed why she chose to take a break of a year even when she had three back to back releases. It was said that Anushka married her beau Virat Kohli on December 11 in 2017 and was rumoured to be taking a break from the films. However, she went on to give four releases namely Sanju, Pari, Sui Dhaaga, and Zero regardless. 

Now Anushka says that Zero was not the reason behind her break but something else. According to a report on Republic’s web portal, Anushka wanted to sit back and relax after a hectic work schedule in 2018. She said that she has been working in tiring schedules in the past three years and the preparations for the parts were demanding.

She also added how she has enough security as an actor in her career and doesn’t need to take on projects just to pass time.

There were also speculations that the break is to plan a family but only Anushka can confirm that. Recently we saw the NH10 actress vacationing with husband Virat and soaking sun on various picturesque beaches. Their recent red carpet appearance had also left internet praising.

Meanwhile, Anushka is now rumoured to join the cast of Farah Khan’s Satte Pe Satta. No announcement about the same has been made yet.
