While the world is grappling with the Coronavirus pandemic and doing everything in its best capacity to prevent spreading of it, several Bollywood actors are doing their bit to create awareness around the corona. However, one actor who has the most intriguing take on the pandemic is Anupam Kher.
While the veteran actor recently shared a funny video on his social media speaking on missing his close friend and next-door neighbour Anil Kapoor, he called the Coronavirus God way of telling people to stop behaving like Gods.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Kher said, “Bhagwan ne laat maari hai and bola hai ki, ‘Behave like humans, don’t become God’. It is God’s way of saying ‘Don’t get into my area’, because human beings have started thinking of themselves as God. But one small virus has put everyone in place… on a mass level worldwide, itni badi learning nahin ho sakti thhi.”

But calling himself an eternal optimist, Kher asked the world to be patient and search for the good in every situation. “Even in the worst situation, there’s a possibility that some goodness will come out of it. At a certain point in life, you’ve to take decisions which aren’t just for your own good, but for the better of people around you.”
While everyone is looking for things to keep themselves busy as the home quarantine, Anupam Kher said that he wants to make use of this time to put his life together. “Getting rid of things I don’t need, extra baggage, extra thoughts, just putting life together. God has given the whole world time to simplify life, whether in thoughts or in materialistic things.”
