Directors are be used to actors making changes in the script, but what Chhodo Kal Ki Baatein director Pramod Joshi heard from his actor Anupam Kher was nothing short of a shock. Anupam, who stars in CKKB, suggested that his character, that of a social commentator, should be blind!
On the first day of the shoot, Anupam approached director Pramod Joshi with this suggestion! “When Anupamji told me about this thought, it’s true that I was completely taken aback. He then understood my side and asked to hold the shoot for an hour just to think about it. I was not getting convinced since we had been working on the script for 4 months. Then we sat and had discussion and during which he actually in acted it out,” says Joshi. Finally, it was Anupam who had the final word and the character turned out the way he wanted it.

The film will also mark Anupam’s debut in Marathi cinema as Chhodo Kal Ki Baatein which will be made in Marathi as Kashala Udyachi Baat.
