Anupam “Joe Armstrong” Kher of YPD 2!

The veteran actor who has always presented a variety of roles on the platter for the audiences, Anupam Kher , is all geared up to don yet another rib-tickling avatar in Sangeeth Sivan’s Yamla Pagla Deewana 2.The actor will be donning the role of Joe Armstrong, who is “funnily deadly” villian according to Anupam himself.

Anupam, who was shooting, over the weekend, for YPD2 at National Space Centre in Leicester, UK, was overwhelmed like a kid and elatedly quipped “I had great fun shooting with Johnny Lever & Sucheta Khanna at National Space Centre. It is an amazing place to be in. It’s educative & entertaining. I felt like a kid with popped out eyes like the first time I went to see planetarium with my parents and younger brother. I want to thank the National Space Centre again for the great education during shoot”.

Speaking about his role, the flawless actor stated “I am playing Joe in YPD2 and this dude is funnily DEADLY. Finally the shooting of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 is wrapped”. Anupam’s character has a gray shade to it, but the “funnily deadly” phrase to it, binds together a lot of fun quotient.

What was even more interesting to find out that during the shooting at Space Centre, at nights Anupam would explore the universe. A source voiced “He (Anupam) was enthusiastic in exploring the universe at length at Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium and Rocket Tower there and learned some bizarre facts about space suits and space world. But only after wearing the spacesuit, he realized that how tough it is to move in that as it’s really very difficult to bend or sit properly with that heavy suit. He was literally on cloud nine after the shoot”.

Seems Mr.Kher got too clinched to the word “Armstrong” whilst essaying Joe Armstrong in the quirky comedy. The movie which is a sequel to the comic caper Yamla Pagla Deewana, will see Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol reprising their previous roles. Alongwith them would be seen Annu Kapoor, Johnny Lever, Sucheta Khanna, Neha Sharma and Kristina Akheeva playing pivotal roles.
