Anil Kapoor:”I Can’t See Fanne Khan Happening Without Aishwarya”

Fanne Khan starring Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Rajkumar Rao is scheduled to release August 3, 2018. The film directed by Atul Manjrekar will reunite actors Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on the silver screen. Their last film together was Taal in 1999, it will be a treat to watch this duo again after 19 years.

In the film Anil Kapoor is the father who wishes to fulfill his son’s dream of becoming a singer. Aishwarya Rai plays the sensational singer and Rajkumar Rao will be seen as her love interest.

In a chat with DNA Anil Kapoor said, “I can’t see Fanne Khan happening without Aishwarya. I have done Taal and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai with her earlier. Both were successful and appreciated. In Fanne Khan, she is not opposite me, but she is the pillar of the film.”

The makers reportedly have asked the leads including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to take a pay cut. Majority of the movie has been shot with the exception of two songs and a few keys scenes.
