While it’s definitely not Anil’s first bout with action, the actor took his time to agree to do the film. He says, “The film is titled Tezz but for me to agree to do a film is never fast. I have my own way of doing a film. Priyadarshan had promised me that he would not let me down and it was an ambitious project and I said yes to him.” The jhakaas star adds further “As said, he has fulfilled his promise. I think this is his best film to date.”

Anil Kapoor is still banking on the success of their film Virasat and hopes that the magic will be recreated in this action drama as well. “Tezz is fast and gripping and will take Indian thrillers to a new level. We had a lot economic constraints but we have tried to create an impactful movie,” says Anil.

But this time Anil has competition from hot blooded stars like Ajay Devgan and Zayed Khan, “I have achieved the peak of physical fitness for this film,” he says. “I realize am no longer ten or fifteen year old but I have tried to change with time and do the best in this kind of situation. I have tried what suits me better and at times when I could not do the scenes I used a body double. There were a lot of running scenes in the film. Every scene has been shot in a realistic way,” he says.
