Featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Irrfan Khan for the first time together in a film, Angrezi Medium is a sequel to the 2017 Hindi Medium. While most details of the film are being kept under wraps, a certain leaked image has gone viral on the internet.

The image shared by one of Kareena Kapoor’s fan club shows Bebo and Irrfan Khan involved in a deep conversation, with a quizzical look on Kareena’s face. For the unversed, Kareena will be donning the role of a cop for the first time in her nearly 2 decade long career! The Jab We Met actress’s look was shared a few months back by her stylist.

Meanwhile, Irrfan Khan will play the role of a sweet shop owner in Rajasthan and is a father to a teenager. Irrfan’s daughter, who is played by former TV actress Radhika Madan, is a character who aspires to study abroad.
Kareena had opened up about working with Irrfan Khan earlier to IANS and had been quoted saying, “Oh God, I am super excited for this film. I have worked with all the Khans – Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir and Saif. But for me, it is an honour and privilege to work with Irrfan Khan. He is the pioneer, one of the finest actors among all the Khans if I may say, and he is the biggest Khan for me. So, I had to tick that box of acting with Irrfan Khan. I know it is a small role but that does not matter.”
Directed by Homi Adajania, Angrezi Medium is produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film also stars Deepak Dobriyal. Angrezi Medium will mark Irrfan’s return on the big screen after his treatment and is slated to release on March 20, 2020.
