Amitabh Bachchan Hospitalized Again
This may not be Amitabh Bachchan’s first visit to a hospital but when his son Abhishek Bachchan tweeted about his reported hernia procedure at a city hospital we couldn’t help but be a tad worried. At 69 years of age, Big B is still one of the most revered stars of the industry. Actor R. Madhavan wished the star a speedy recovery in a cute tweet, “Get well soon Amit Ji. SuperHeros visit hospitals only to enquire about other patients”.
After the elder Bachchan was out of the operation theatre, the superstar thanked all his fans and well-wishers for praying for his good-health. The baritoned star had an adorable exchange of tweets with his son which went as follows:
Amitabh: Back ..!! Thank you for your prayers.. your love and wishes never fail..indebted for life, one that I shall never be able to pay back
Abhishek: it’s past your bedtime Auro!!. Stop tweeting and back to bed. :-)
Amitabh: OK … Paa !! Am already in bed .. been on it the whole day
Even Shah Rukh Khan prayed for the star on Twitter. Hey, if you can’t show some affection on Twitter, where else?!
Condolences For Anupam Kher
If you regularly follow Anupam Kher on Twitter, you must be familiar with his updates about his father’s witty answers and snippets of wisdom. Sadly, Mr. Pushkarnath passed away on February 10. Amitabh Bachchan and Satish Kaushik tweeted their condolences for the actor’s father. What was most touching was Anupam’s tweet, “Just realised today is the first day of my life without my father. And this is how it is going to be now. Thanks for your love & messages.”
