Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan apologized to fans of superstar Rajnikanth and commented that the latter ‘is like a God’, after a Rajnikanth joke that Amitabh shared on Twitter.com infuriated a few fans of Rajni.
“Never criticising Rajni … it’s actually praising him… his greatness and his power… he is a superior human, loved and respected by all. Not making fun of him… praising his status and his greatness. He is noble, successful, humble person, and revered like a God,” Amitabh wrote.
Earlier, the Big B had shared this joke: “Someone sent me this on mobile – “When Graham Bell discovered the telephone, he found two missed calls from Rajnikanth!!” Brilliant.” But when he received a few negative comments from Rajni fans, he duly clarified his position. To be sure, Amitabh and Rajnikanth are fast friends and have worked together in many films before.
