On July 11, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The father-son duo were then hospitalized to Nanavati Hospital for treatment. Now, here is some amazing news, the megastar is heading home after testing Covid-19 negative during a recent test.
Abhishek Bachchan took to social media on Sunday and shared the happy news with his fans. The Dhoom actor though has still tested positive and is currently under medical supervision at the hospital.

Abhishek tweeted: “@juniorbachchan my father, thankfully, has tested negative on his latest Covid-19 test and has been discharged from the hospital. He will now be at home and rest. Thank you all for all your prayers and wishes for him,” Abhishek tweeted.

In another tweet Abhishek informed his fans saying: “I, Unfortunately due to some comorbidities remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. I’ll beat this and come back healthier! Promise”.

A day after Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek were diagnosed positive, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan too were tested positive. though initially quarantined at home, the mother-daughter duo were later hospitalized as well. Jaya Bachchan was tested negative from the start.
Recently, Aishwarya and Aaradhya tested negative for coronavirus and were discharged from hospital. We wish Abhishek too recovers soon and joins the family at home.
