Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan celebrated her 49th birthday yesterday. While everybody was expecting a lavish bash, Gauri chose to have an intimate party with her closed ones at her home, Mannat.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Gauri spent her birthday in her abode with husband SRK and her youngest son AbRam. However, Suhana Khana and Aryan Khan could not make it to the celebration since they are not in the country right now.

Meanwhile, SRK’s New Delhi’s best friends Shalini and Sanjay Passi flew down to Mumbai to bring in Gauri’s birthday. In the evening, the Khans hosted a few best friends. The guest list included Sanjay Kapoor and wife Maheep Kapoor, Rima Jain and Natasha Nanda. An intimate dinner party was organized.

Many of Gauri’s B-town friends took to social media to wish her. One of her best friends, director-producer Karan Johar took to Instagram and penned down an emotional note and called her strongest silent support system in it.
SRK in the afternoon was seen conducting an #AskSRK session on Twitter and was answering fan questions. Many fans wished Gauri in the session too and SRK promised to pass on all the wishes to her at the end of the session. He wrote, “Ok all. Need to go now. @gaurikhan birthday so will pass on all your wishes to her. Lots of love to you all and was good to hear from you on #AskSRK BE WELL. Be happy. And don’t forget to pray.”
