Join UsAfter Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, gossip mills were abuzz that Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt will be the lead pair of Aashiqui’s 3rd installment. However, the producer of the film rubbished the rumours, confirming that the two are not a part of the movie.
At a recent event, Bhushan Kumar, one of the producers of ‘Aashiqui 3‘, informed the media and said – “We will not like to talk about ‘Aashiqui 3‘ as we are yet to lock the actors. The casting is not locked yet. We are still working on our script.”
Earlier, Alia Bhatt’s uncle Mukesh Bhatt, who is also co-producing the movie, had confirmed Alia and Sidharth being a part of the movie. But Kumar furthered clarified saying “Whatever news is coming in the media relating to the film and casting… is not finalized yet.”
He further added, “We can’t say anything on this (casting) as the work is still on the script. Till the time, the script is not finalised we can’t announce anything.”
