Earlier today on her birthday, actress Alia Bhatt along with Karan Johar, gave us another glimpse of her character from her upcoming movie, Raazi. The simple but novel look captivates us and leaves us wanting more. Starring opposite Vicky Kaushal, the movie is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel titled, Calling Sehmat.
It’s a real life adaptation of a Kashmiri girl who marries an army officer and is set during the 1971 Indo- Pak War. But these stills aren’t the only thing the actress shared with on her birthday.

In her Instagram post, she also announced that since it’s her 25th birthday, the trailer of the movie would be released 25 days from today i.e. on 9th April. Also, the photos taken are from the 25th day of their shoot. Both stills show her in quite sombre outfits, which is quite a transition from the fashionable diva we saw her as in her debut film, Student of the Year or even Shaandaar, which is proof of how far she has come. However, it’s her eyes that actually catch our attention. We can sense her determination without her saying a single word, simply through the intensity in her eyes.

Talking about the film, Alia Bhatt had earlier said, “I think in Raazi audience will see me in completely different avatar at least that is my wish because Raazi as a film is very different. It’s the first time I am doing a period film and it is based on true story as well, so I am very excited for it and I hope audience will like it.”
While we eagerly wait for the trailer on 9th April, we wish the bubbly superstar a Happy 25th Birthday !
