Akshay Kumar & Shahid Kapoor In The Race For Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s Hindi Remake?

Akshay Kumar has a bag full of films and all of which are anticipated ones. In this case what if we tell you that the superstar might also be seen in the Hindi remake of the hit Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo? And is in a race with Shahid Kapoor to bag the film. If reports are to be believed, Ashwin Varde, who bankrolled the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, titled Kabir Singh is backing this as well. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde was produced by Allu Arvind who was planning to make it in Hindi as well but didn’t go ahead.

A report in 123teleugu.com says that Ashwin Varde who has approached Allu Arwind in the past as well, has bought the rights for a hefty amount. The report also suggests that the makers are eyeing for Akshay Kumar or Shahid Kapoor to step into Allu’s shoes.

Meanwhile, there is no update on who will be the leading lady and the director of the film.
For the unversed, Shahid Kapoor is already doing the Hindi remake of the acclaimed South film Jersey and has been shooting for the same.

As for Akshay Kumar, the Khiladi has a platter of films including Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb, Bachchan Pandey, Atrangi Re, Bell Bottom, and Prithviraj. Let’s see who bags the part.
