On Friday, the news of Kushal Punjabi’s death shocked the television and film industry. The 37-year-old actor committed suicide by hanging himself on Thursday night at his own house. Kushal has worked in many TV shows, reality shows and in films with Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, John Abraham and others.

At a media interaction, Akshay Kumar was asked about the news of Kushal’s death. The duo shared screen space in Akshay Kumar’s movie Andaaz (2003) which also stars Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra.

Akshay said, “Yes, I have worked with Kushal Punjabi. Everybody has their own thing. Some are lucky enough to understand, and some don’t. The family also matters. We don’t know why people do such things, but they must be having their reasons.”

He added, “All I can say is, guys, be brave enough and face the problem. It is a lovely life you have. Your mother and father brought you to this world and looked after you. Don’t just let it go. It is important to be strong.”

Meanwhile, the reports suggest that Kushal Punjabi committed suicide due to troubled marriage. Police have found a suicide note in which he has distributed his property equally among his parents and his son but nothing for his wife.
