It happened after Akshay took to Twitter to welcome BMC and tell his Mumbai based fans how they can communicate their concerns and compliments with BMC through the microblogging site now. He wrote, “The BMC is now on twitter as @mybmc, you can now tweet your suggestions/ grievances to BMC directly and get them addressed.

Sadly, the superstar was showered by a lot of negative tweets in return and was badly trolled. The main keyword in all the negative tweets ironically was “Canadian”. Have a look at some of them-

On the work front, Akshay was last seen in Kesari which proved to be his highest grosser solo film. His next film Mission Mangal is slated to release on August 15 and clash with biggies like Saaho and Batla House. The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi and Kirti Kulhari.
Recently Akshay Kumar who plays a senior scientist in the film tweeted that he has made Mission Mangal for his daughter. He wrote, “#MissionMangal , a film which I hope will inspire as much as entertain. A film which I’ve done specially for my daughter and children her age to familiarise them with the incredible true story of India’s mission to Mars! “
