Akshay Kumar and Himesh Reshammiya have upped the stakes for Khiladi 786. What seemed like a desi film in the offering now has an international touch to it as well, courtesy Yo Yo Honey Singh coming on board. Together, the trio shot for a specially designed music video on Monday evening and it would be on air very soon.

“This was an impromptu call taken by Akshay and Himesh,” informs a source, “Honey Singh happened to be in town and they felt that it would be a great idea to shoot for a video with him. In any case the singer has gained popularity with his songs but hasn’t yet been introduced to a larger Indian audience via a video. The song Lonely, which has already gained very good popularity, would be a good platform for him.”
Though originally it was just the ‘remix’ music video which was supposed to be out, arrival of Honey Singh has resulted in a specially created Studio Mix version.
“This also makes Akshay as the only superstar who has collaborated with four international artists now for his films,” a source adds, “He started this with Snoop Dogg (Singh Is Kinng) and has followed that up with Kylie Minogue (Blue), Ludacris (Speedy Singh) and now Honey Singh.”
When contacted, Himesh – who is pretty much on a roll after the super-success of soundtracks from Son Of Sardaar and Bol Bachchan this year, confirmed the developments and promised that Lonely would be something to watch out for. Meanwhile, Hookah Bar too has been unveiled which is touted to be the next biggie for Khiladi 786.
