Reliable sources inform us that actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to perform with husband Abhishek Bachchana at the Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) to be held in Vancouver on the 6th of April.
Aishwarya, who recently gave her first performance at the 5oth edition of Femina Miss India, following the birth of her daughter Aardhaya Bachchan, will now give her first overseas performance after a long gap of almost 2 years.
TOIFA will span over 3 days, shall start with a huge concert in the Pacific Coliseum on 4th April. The concert will be followed by the screening of Bollywood films and will finally culminate into the Awards Function on the concluding night of TOIFA.
The red carpet event will be co-hosted by the Bombay Velvet lead stars, co-actors Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, who will later be joined Boman Irani on stage to lend his funny bone to tickle the audiences with his hilarity and humor.
Couple Aishwarya and Abhishek are due to spend several days in British Columbia. This will be Aishwarya’s second huge performance post pregnancy and the first one overseas following the same. Aishwarya incurred several rather uncalled for and harsh criticisms due to the post baby fat she had put on. Valiantly shedding all the extra weight, the gorgeous lady is all set to sizzle the stage all over again. She had also performed impromptu at a fundraiser in February which was organized by NDTV and Coca Cola.
