After Shaandaar, Shahid-Alia To Work Together In Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin Remake

The ‘Shaandaar‘ pair Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to work together again in the remake of cult romantic drama ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin‘

Alia Bhatt will portray the character of Pooja Dharamchand which was played by her half-sister Pooja Bhatt in the original flick, while Shahid Kapoor will portray the character of Raghu Jetley essayed by Aamir Khan.

Alia Bhatt’s father Mahesh Bhatt, who directed the original film, will write the script of the remake but will not direct it. Though Alia insisted her father to direct the remake, but he refused it and said that he will get someone to direct the film but will write the script of the remake himself as reported by a popular daily.

It’ll be interesting to see whether this remake will recreate the same magic again or not. Also since, Shahid and Alia’s romance fizzled out pretty soon in Shaandaar, let’s see if their pairing will see some box office success with this film.
