Talking about playing a small role in the film Parineeti Chopra earlier said, “Everybody knows ‘Kesari’ is about the Battle of Saragarhi. It’s a boys film, but at very crucial and emotional moments of the film, character of Akshay Kumar thinks about his dead wife (played by me). It’s very cool love story that is woven into the story of battle. I have a very small role in the film, but it is one of those films that I wanted to be a part of.”
