After Anushka Sharma in Pari, another A-lister, Nargis Fakhri joins the bandwagon of Horror films with her next titled Amaavas.
Horror films have been a part of Bollywood since times immemorial. From 1949 hit film Mahal to the latest Anushka Sharma starrer Pari, this underrated genre has come a long way.
Interestingly, Actress and Model Nargis Fakhri who was last seen in Banjo will be seen playing a pivotal role in her first ever supernatural/horror film called Amaavas, directed by Bhushan Patel is known for making horror genre popular with films like Ragini MMS 2, Alone and 1920 Evil Returns.

Produced by Viiking Media and Entertainment in association with Simply West UK and Thot Ventures, the film has gone on the floor in London for a start to finish schedule.
Nargis Fakhri, who is a part of a documentary episode on empowering artisans, says she is thrilled to be a part of raising awareness for craft in the country. Nargis recently shared a clip of a documentary featuring weavers and artisans in the country directed by Susan Cohn Rockefeller.
“This documentary is powerful, transformative and uplifting for women around the world. I’m thrilled that I was a part of raising awareness for talented artisans in India alongside Unleashed World. You can check out the first episode coming soon to Refinery29,” she captioned the video.
