Abhishek To Reprise Sr. Bachchan’s Role!

Well, yes, you are reading it right and you might as well read it again! After shunning the idea, innumerable times of playing the roles; originally played by his father, Amitabh Bachchan, there is something fresh that comes across from Jr. Bachchan. Abhishek has finally complied with and given a go-ahead to Kunal Kohli where he would play the role which his father played in yesteryears.

Kunal has finally been able to strum the right chords and has convinced Jr. Bachchan, to reprise Amitabh Bachchan’s role Vijay/Ram in the quirky fun caper Do Aur Do Panch (1980). It’s been 33 years to the film.

The film would also have Bobby Deol donning the role played originally by Shashi Kapoor. The leading ladies of the flick have not been finalized yet and the further developments are still to happen. Taking the director’s chair will be debutante Akshaye Puri, who is maternal cousin to the newbie star Varun Dhawan and fashion designer Manish Malhotra.

Kunal says it is too early to reveal all the details about the project and they would announce about the further advancements in a formal way.
