Bollywood movies, rather say, Bollywood masala films have thoroughly entertaining and high on fun elements. Even American band Black Eyed Peas are aware of this. The group released a brand new music video last week and it has created a dizzy among Indian fans and Bollywood actors.

Black Eyed Peas’s latest music video, Action, is inspired by top action sequences from Indian movies such as SS Rajamouli’s Maryada Ramanna, Sundar C’s Ambala, KOPPS, Rohit Shetty’s Singham, and Rajnikath’s Enthrian. Band member William Adams, popularly known as Will.i.am shared this video on his Twitter account and it almost instantly went viral on the internet.

Will.i.am sharing the video wrote: “Check out our video for #ACTION inspired by #BOLLYWOOD…ive always loved music from India…#Elephunk and #MonkeyBusiness were inspired by Indian Culture…thank you India for your vibrancy and contribution to the world…” To which music maestro AR Rehman replied to the tweet, “The borders are blurring through art! #tamilcinema @directorshankar #rajnikant #india.”

Even Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan couldn’t resist themselves from commenting on the fun video. Commenting on the hilarious video, Abhishek Bachchan wrote, “Insanely cool!!!,” while Ajay Devgn appreciating their efforts said, “This is a super-enjoyable track Good stuff @iamwill”

However, this is not the first time that the musical group has taken inspiration from Indian music. Earlier, Black Eyed Peas had created a rendition of their chartbuster Don’t Phunk with my Heart taking inspiration from the tune of Don song Ye Mera Dil. Likewise, the musical band had sampled yet another Hindi song, Ae Naujawan from the film Apradh for the same song.

The Black Eyed Peas currently include Will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo. Fergie had stepped away from the band in 2017 after being part of it for more than 10 years. Will.i.am also spoke about her departure recently saying, “We love her, and she’s focusing on being a mom. That’s a hard job, and that’s what she really wants to do and we’re here for her… It’s really the way Fergie designed it, so we’re respecting her design. We love Fergie, and we don’t want anything but awesomeness for her.”
