It seems that Abhay Deol has taken it upon himself to take filmmaking to the masses, literally.
The actor has tied up with a social organization, Video Volunteers, which encourages the downtrodden to express themselves through documentaries and films.
The actor met the people behind Video Volunteers in Mysore recently and liked what they were doing; saying that it matched what he himself had, a couple of years ago, thought of doing.
Through Video Volunteers, Abhay hopes to provide employment to the financially weaker sections of society, mostly as journalists who would make documentaries.
