Aamir Khan’s Dangal trailer received a lot of positive responses from the audience. The film’s first song, Haanikarak Bapu, instantly became a rage for aptly portraying the complex father-daughter relationship between Aamir’s character of Mahavir Phoghat and his young daughters.
Sadly, the song has gone into trouble with Vishwatmak Samajik Seva Trust, an NGO who are now holding a silent protest against it.

President of the trust has asked the makers to drop the word ‘Bapu’ from it since it tarnishes the image of Mahatma Gandhi, who was lovingly addressed as Bapu by the people of the nation.

According to reports, the NGO did send a request to Aamir Khan but did not receive any reply on the same and hence have now chosen to hold a silent protest.
Dangal has been directed by Nitesh Tiwari and is slated to release on 23rd December,2016.
