Aamir To Attend TIME Celebratory Dinner With Obama?

Actor Aamir Khan, who has been named by TIME among the 100 most influential people in the world, is scheduled to attend the celebratory dinner of this occasion in New York tomorrow, probably in the presence of U.S President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle.

Aamir, who is swiftly shifting between shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s P.K. and YRF’s Dhoom 3, is expected to take a 3 day break from his shooting schedule in order to make it for the TIME’s dinner.

Khan, has previously dawned the cover of several previous editions of TIME, will have a special edition in TIME 100 issue. Along with Malala Yousafzai, Justin Timberlake, Steven Spielberg and Michelle Obama among many others, Aamir has secured the place of pioneer in TIME 2013.

Academy Award winning music director A.R Rahman in his description of Aamir Khan spoke of him loftily, penning down eloquently about the man’s strong sense of social commitment. His stint at television ‘Satyamev Jayate’, earned him the tag of a crusader from TIME itself for highlighting to the public, suppressed, in-the-closet issues and problems of the Indian social fabric.
