Aamir Khan’s Dangal Becomes Tax Free In Uttar Pradesh

Aamir Khan’s highly anticipated biographical sports drama Dangal has been declared tax free in Uttar Pradesh before its release.

This is indeed a very big advantage for the film, as UP is one of the important markets when box office is taken into consideration. The tax exemption will give a great boost to the business of Dangal in its opening week itself.

Dangal is based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters Geeta and Babita. Since Phogat family hails from Haryana, tax exemption is also expected from this state.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal also features Sakshi Tanwar, Sana Fatima Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra in key roles. It is scheduled to release on 23rd December.
