Aamir Khan, who is in Punjab to shoot his upcoming biographical sports drama Dangal, has decided to cast 100 locals to give the movie more authentic feel.

Soon the Dangal team decided to audition actors, who were being selected for various roles including those of Haryanvi wrestlers. And to everyone’s surprise, they’ve received amazing response in auditions from the locals.

Now, while the team is busy in shortlisting the actors from the auditions, Aamir Khan is personally checking the potential of shortlisted actors & giving his opinion too.

The main requirement for all locals is that they should have robust personality & should speak Haryanvi fluently.

‘Dangal’ which is directed by ‘Bhoothnath Returns‘ director Nitesh Tiwari is slated to release on 23rd December 2016.
