Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao welcomed a baby boy into their lives this week. Aamir and Kiran, who have been married for six years, had the baby through a surrogate mother.
A statement released by the 3 Idiots star said, “This baby is especially dear to us, because he was born to us after a long wait and some difficulty. We are humbled by the greatness of God, the miracles of science, and the kindness and love of our families and friends in being there for us while respecting our privacy.” Kiran had suffered a miscarriage in 2009.
Aamir Khan has two children – Junaid and Ira – from his previous marriage to Reena Dutta.
While Aamir has been busy shooting for Reema Kagti’s Talaash, Kiran’s Dhobi Ghat had released earlier this year.
