Aamir Khan DENIES Rumours Of Secret Donation: “Its A Fake Story”

Due to the coronavirus crisis, a lot of celebrities have been donating money and food to the poor people and Aamir Khan has been on the forefront of the good deed. Recently, a video claiming that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan made a surprise monetary donation to the underprivileged in a unique way has surfaced online and is going viral.

The TikTok video, which has not been verified, claims that Aamir sent a truck with bags of wheat flour packets, to be distributed among the needy. It states that on April 23 the truck arrived in Delhi in an underprivileged area amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. The vehicle was loaded with one-kilo packets of flour.

While many refused to take the packets because they felt one kilo would hardly serve any purpose in their families, the video mentions that those who took the packets were in for a surprise. Within each packet of flour, it turns out there was Rs 15,000 hidden in cash.

However, there was no confirmation on the news that Aamir Khan is the one in the video distributing the packets.

Now, the Dangal actor has himself quashed all the reports of him donating money in wheat bags. Taking to Twitter, the actor clarified that the news is false and he has not done anything like this. The actor wrote: ‘Guys, I am not the person putting money in wheat bags. Its either a fake story completely, or Robin Hood doesn’t want to reveal himself!’

Joining the long list of Bollywood celebrities who have chipped in with donations to aid the country’s battle against Covid-19, Aamir Khan contributed to the PM-CARES Fund and the CM relief fund of Maharashtra.

In addition to donating to the funds, the Lagaan actor will also be extending support to the daily wage workers who were employed in his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha.
