Join UsAamir Khan, took time off his packed schedule and flew down to New York to attend the TIME Gala dinner. The Indian actor made it to the International magazine’s list of 100 most influential people in the world and will don the cover of TIME’s September issue.
The dinner that was held in Lincoln Centre was a grand show with Aamir being exposed to the crème de le crème of Hollywood circles. Aamir Khan met the Academy Award winning British actor Daniel Day Lewis. Best known for his role in the Steven Spielberg 2012 film Lincoln, Aamir and Daniel were spotted making a conversation about each other’s work and cinema in general, informed a leading daily.
Aamir Khan who looked dashing in his black side buttoned achkan, smartly posed for the shutterbugs with the Greek-American writer Arianna Huffington, best known for her website Huffington Post. Arianna later tweeted the picture of the two on the social networking site.
The evening was abundant in grandeur. Singer Christina Aguilera, made it even better by delivering a fabulous performance compiling her most loved tracks.
Aamir’s television experience that began with Satyamev Jayate last year, became popular for the actor’s ability to excavate buried skeletons from the closet. Discussing social evils like medical negligence, manual scavenging and dowry, Aamir pioneered as a crusader for leaving behind a positive impact by the conclusion of the show’s first season!
