Aamir Khan always releases the theatrical trailers of his films during Diwali. It’s almost a ritual with him, starting from Taare Zameen Par onwards, he has always released the trailers of his commercial biggies during the festive occasion of  Diwali. The trailers of Ghajini and 3 Idiots too were released in Diwali.

So one can easily expect that the launch of Dhoom 3’s theatrical trailer to launch with pomp and show this Diwali. The added bonus this year is that Dhoom 3 theatrical will be seen in the biggest format, IMAX.

Till date only Hollywood films like Spiderman, Batman, Mission Impossible were released in IMAX format. The Dhoom Franchise will see Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra being a part of it. The theatrical trailer is set to release on 30th October i.e. close to the auspicious day of Diwali while the film will release during Christmas this year on 20th December.
