Today, superstar Aamir Khan is celebrating his 53rd birthday. Man of the hour celebrated his birthday with the media persons today at his residence. He currently has Thugs Of Hindostan with Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Even after turning 53, Aamir Khan still looks young and energetic, and he has the zest to explore new things.

The Dhoom 3 actor also cut his cake with all of us just like he does every year. After the cake cutting was done, Aamir also interacted with the media and had a candid chat.

When he was asked about if Big B wished him first on his birthday, he said, “Yes, he was actually the first one to wish me. Because while we were shooting, and suddenly I heard a booming voice of Amit Ji on the mic (laughs). He wished me in front of everyone on the set. I was very happy that he was the first one, I had wished that he should wish me first and it turned out to be true!”

Aamir further also spoke about Amitabh Bachchan’s on-going health issues. It was reported that Big B is suffering from shoulder and back injury. Speaking about the same, Aamir said, “I shot with Amit Ji yesterday night also. It is true that he is having an issue in his shoulder and back, because there’s a lot of action in the film. After so long, you would see him doing action. So definitely it’s a challenging film for him and he is coping very well with it. But at times, it pains physically. There’s an injury in his shoulder and back. His health was critical day before yesterday but now, he is better and yesterday we shot together.“

Aamir also expressed his desires about working with Big B. He says that he hopes Thugs Of Hindostan becomes a memorable film since he is working with the megastar.

The actor, who was shooting for Thugs Of Hindostan in Jodhpur, flew all the way to Mumbai just to celebrate his birthday with family. He said, “First of all, thank you so much that you all have come here. I feel very happy about that. I am very happy that I could make it today. I was actually shooting for the film but my director gave me 2 days off. I came here suddenly. My wife Kiran Rao too gave a surprise as she came to pick me at the airport.”
