It was quite an unlikely news that sprawled across news portals of a source close to Aamir Khan claiming that the actor is confident Dhoom:3 will smash the records of Chennai Express. Aamir, who plays the role of Dhoom:3‘s main antagonist, clarified that he isn’t thinking about the records his upcoming film will make or break.
The actor said in a statement, “I am not interested in breaking records. I am an artist, and what gives me a high is to entertain my audience, to give them a good time, and to satisfy them emotionally.”
The actor who is releasing a film almost after a year now, has never been a conformist to Superstar trends or box office records. His last film Talaash, though well received by audiences still could not join the established 100 crore club.
The actor has always claimed that audience’s love is his biggest award. He once again emphasized the same, “I want to earn the love of my audience. That is what I am thirsty for. I like to challenge myself and do work that I have not done. I like to surprise my audience. These are the things that I am interested in.”
The actor just landed back in Mumbai after training himself in a special dance form to be used in the film.
Dhoom:3 is all geared up to release on 20th December, ensuring Bollywood’s end this year is done in the grand bash style!
