Join UsFor whom the Robot and Dabangg fever has run out, it’s a clash between two very thrilling movies this week. On one hand there’s Priyadarshan’s Aakrosh based on honour killings and caste wars in India, while on the other director Mani Shankar’s Knock Out stars Sanjay Dutt in the role of a vigilante shooter.
Aakrosh looks pretty realistic with actors like Ajay Devgan, Akshay Khanna and Paresh Rawal. Bipasha Basu, who plays the female lead in the film, has gone de-glam once again and we’re not complaining at all. Director Priyadarshan has given a rest to his comic capers with Akshay Kumar, and even has us looking forward for this gritty tale.
Knock Out had us with the witty dialogues and Sanjay Dutt’s awesome sniper rifle. We also have Irrfan Khan goofing around to clichéd Bollywood songs and Kangna Ranaut, who looks snazzy as a reporter.
So its Ajay Devgan’s drama thriller on one side and Sanjay Dutt’s action flick on the other. What’s your pick?
