It is a known fact that Rohit Shetty pretty much sticks to the written word when it comes to shooting his films. Also, all changes, if required, are done much before the actors report on the sets. Post that there are no improvisations warranted. Due to such conditions being set, one wonders whether Asin, the film’s leading lady, ever felt that being an experienced actress, she was being constrained?

“Not really”, says Asin immediately, “As an actor you have to leave certain decisions to the director and adapt to his style. You could give your suggestions but then ultimately it all boils down to the captain of the ship. In case of Rohit, it is a known fact that he has a definite idea about what and how to shoot. Even before the actors come on sets, he uses proxy actors to be positioned on a spot and then do his rehearsals. He wants things exactly as he has planned on paper. That is his working style so you go along with that and follow directions.”
She goes on to add with a smile, “In any case Rohit has proved himself time and again so it is better to follow him.”
Now that the film is just a couple of days away from release and one foresees yet another mighty grosser in the offering, it has to be acknowledged that Asin certainly has an eye on entertainers that turn out to be huge commercial successes.

“Well, I seem to have a good idea of the kind of taste mass audience has and their preferences. I know the kind of ingredients they want in their films and ‘Bol Bachchan‘ fits the bill. The moment first promo came out and reactions started floating in, I knew how masses would react to it. Such mainstream masala films with comedy and action are bound to work”, says Asin confidently before signing off.
We would know that as well once the film releases all over this Friday.
