’83: Deepika Padukone Plans An Exciting Wrap-Up Bash For Ranveer Singh & Team

After a long time, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will be seen together in a film. The couple will be seen in Kabir Khan’s upcoming film titled ’83. It’s based on India’s 1983 World Cup Cricket win in which Ranveer essays the role of Kapil Dev. Deepika will be portraying his wife Romi Dev in the film.

After shooting for the film in London, Ranveer and Deepika recently wrapped up the film in Mumbai. A few of the scenes will be shot today, thus marking the final schedule wrap. As reported by DNA, the Piku actress is planning an exciting bash for the cast and crew of ’83.

A source informed DNA, “Deepika wants to celebrate the journey of the shoot of ’83. She has personally written a letter to each and everyone from the team inviting them for the party.”

The daily also shared the message DP wrote in a letter to the team of ’83. The letter reads – “Member of team ’83, Over the last several months, iconic moments have been relieved and memories have been etched in our hearts forever.”

“I am beyond proud to be a part of a team that is driven by love, passion, enthusiasm and eternally grateful for your contribution. And for this, I would like to invite you to a celebration! Lots of Love, Deepika Padukone”, read the letter.

The bash is expected to be held in Mumbai’s BKC area.

Coming to the film, ’83 also stars Saqib Saleem, Hardy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi and others. The film will hit the screens on April 10, 2020.
