User Rating:
When it comes to music, I have kind of liked Luv Ranjan’s taste in music through the songs he chooses in his films. Be it Ban Gaya Kutta, Life Sahi Hai in Pyaar Ka Puchnama, Paro & Sharabi from Pyaar Ka Puchnama 2 or even Tera Mera Naam from Akaash Vaani – he has given some pretty memorable songs through his films.
Let’s analyse if the songs of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has the LOVE-factor in it.

1. Dil Chori – Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Music Review
Starting off the album and promotional tour with a recreated song could have been a risky gamble but T-Series scored a home run with this one. Recreated yesteryear’s chartbuster Dil Chori Sada Ho Gaya sung by Hans Raj Hans, Honey Singh comes back to croon this. A proper Punjabi wedding song, this has already been ruling the clubs & pubs. Honey Singh has added his personal touch to the songs which goes well with this version.
2. Chhote Chhote Peg – Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Music Review
This song is just up the league of Yo Yo Honey Singh and gives you the same feels from the word go. Honey has always been criticised for the use of intoxicating words in the lyrics but it’s his songs that top the playlist of dance songs. The superb fusion of techno music makes it pacy and its quirky lyrics will make you hum the song.
3. Subah Subah – Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Music Review
In every Luv Ranjan, there is one song giving a laid-back feel. Be it Koi Aa Raha Paas Hai from Pyaar Ka Punchnama or Heeriye from Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Subah Subah fall in the same template. A nice road trip song, this is sung by the king of variation – Arijit Singh. Prakriti Kakar and Amaal Mallik mark their presence, additional singers.
4. Bom Diggy Diggy – Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Music Review
A direct adaption of Zack Knight’s track, Bom Diggy Diggy is a perfect choice for the album. This is another addition to the list of party songs in this album. It was already a hit before this movie but will now maximise its audience through the film. Jasmin Walia has lent her voice for the female portion of the song, though minimal it surely adds to the effect.
5. Kaun Nachdi – Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Music Review
6. Lakk Meri Hit – Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Music Review
This is the point in the album where you feel exhausted with wedding songs. Following the similar template of the album, this is Rochak Kohli’s attempt at composing a dancing track. Dominated by Sukriti Kakar the song might sound well in the movie but as a standalone, it’s just another ordinary pumped up the track.
7. Tera Yaar Hoon Main – Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Music Review
In an album full of peppy numbers, giving a heart-touching song like this shows the kind of ears Luv has for music. Sung by Arijit Singh this made me miss my best friend I have lost contact with. Kumaar deserves a special mention for the simple yet impactful lyrics. Out of all such amazing party songs on the album, this song will surely top my playlist for a long time now.
8. Sweety Slowly Slowly – Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Music Review
As the title suggests, this is a slow song – not the kind of slow one can’t like but the kind of lazy everyone loves. But on a downer side, this is not the kind of song one would play to listen on the regular basis. Mika Singh tries to pull up the song with his voice but easily forgettable lyrics make this an average fare.
The Last Word – Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Music Review
When you have 8 tracks on the album, it’s not necessary every song should hit the correct chords. Even Sonu Ke Titu Ke Sweety has some misses, but overall it has some entertaining and memorable songs. A cool mix of composers giving their best is one of the many reasons why the songs are topping various lists.
